COVID-19

It is encouraging to see that nearly half of Texas (~43% as of writing this) has been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, however over 16 million Texans are still at risk of catching the virus. When visiting Westside Pediatrics, please respect and follow our COVID-19 guidelines:

  • Call the office from your car when you arrive for your appointment (one of our staff will come outside to bring you in)
  • All individuals ages 4 and up wear a facemask during the duration of the appointment
  • Let the office know if you have any concerns about exposure to COVID-19 you may have had in the last two weeks

Hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are looking to bring on a fulltime Medical Assistant (MA) and / or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to the Westside Pediatrics team! If you or someone you would recommend are interested in learning more, please speak with our office manager at (281) 578-5788.

Physical and well-child appointments

The schedule usually gets very busy in August / September due to a large number of physical exams and well-child checkups (often required by school or organized sports). If you anticipate needing a physical this year, please consider scheduling your appointment sooner rather than later to beat the rush!

Flu vaccines

Flu vaccines will be available at the end of August. Give us a call to schedule your vaccination today!

Vaccination culture at Westside Pediatrics

At Westside Pediatrics, our goal has and always will be to help make the world a safer, healthier, and more-enjoyable place through medicine. Vaccinating your children according to the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is one of the easiest ways for us to protect our communities. We understand that following our vaccine schedule can be inconvenient at times and if it is your choice, we will work with you to accommodate a more spread-out vaccine schedule.
