Winter 2020, A letter from Dr. Kisch

Hello Westside Pediatrics Family,

I hope you and your family are all staying safe this holiday season!

As we close out 2020, we’ve noticed that our patient volumes have declined considerably from last year, especially sick visits. This is completely understandable given the pandemic, but I wanted to take this opportunity to help address any concerns you might have in visiting Westside Pediatrics.

If you’ve been reluctant to schedule appointments out of concern for your health, please know that your family’s safety is our number one priority. Not only do we implement the CDC’s recommendations in our office, but we’re also proactive in finding ways to continually increase our safety standards. For example, we recently purchased two new air purifiers that run throughout the day in the office, and we even installed a brand new external door to be able to better isolate sick patients from well patients as they enter our building. For a detailed breakdown of all of our safety precautions, please check out the COVID-19 update on our homepage.

While it might be tempting to forego an office visit, we encourage you to maintain your regular and impromptu check-ups to ensure your family’s long-term health. No matter the circumstance, we hope to always be a reliable, friendly, and available resource to you and your family, and now is no different.

Dr. Kisch
